One from the Vaults!
In 1974 Armada published The First Armada Book of True Ghost Stories, in which Christine Bernard who had edited the first two volumes of the Armada Ghost Book fiction series, brought us fifteen tales of real life hauntings including the ghostly monks of Glastonbury, Gef the talking mongoose, and the case of the Bell witch.
While this book didn’t spawn a long running series, it was reprinted many times, getting a new title and cover in 1976 - A Shiver of Spooks.
In 1977 it was published in the US by Philadelphia with yet another name - A Host of Ghosts. And finally in 1979 Armada released a revised edition, with a new title and cover - True Ghosts, which was reprinted many times into the 1980s.
